Review on 🚨 Wolo (3555M-B) Aurora Halogen Emergency Warning Mini Light Bar - Blue Lens: Enhanced Visibility for Critical Situations by Erick Roby

Screws, seams and lightbulbs. Oh God!

I have to admit I was impressed when the box arrived. I found a larger than expected bar of light. A closer look quickly revealed many fatal flaws in the Aurora's design. After installation, I immediately encountered a defective bulb on only one side. No problem, right? I can just change it, right? Not correct. dead bug. The screws securing each capped end were very tight. This of course resulted in at least two screw heads being quickly ripped off. Pooh! Realizing that this is a fragile polycarbonate plastic, I very carefully unscrewed the offending screws and was able to use the EZ-Out to remove them. Second, the bulb itself didn't burn out, it just came loose. It works or not. Choose for yourself. Finally, I can't imagine it being waterproof or even waterproof. In fact, I believe the morning freeze is likely to cause a serious breach in structural integrity. especially with two missing screws. Whilst I like the light in general I am seriously disturbed by this experience and will likely buy a Code 3 420 light when I have the extra money as it is constructed with no seams to allow water ingress. a leak. While I really like Aurora's style, I have to guess. Spend a few bucks more and save yourself frustration.
