Quality control needs revision. stuck one of the damaged stickers on the cover and washed it. After cleaning with some soap and cold water the paper deteriorated slightly and the color and gold foil faded significantly. You can still see the design but it's gone. So if you stick them on items that need constant washing, they will eventually wash off. But then again, you get plenty of decal options to change up your decorated drinkware as many times as you like. These stickers are made of very thin paper. I would say they are perfect for journaling because they are easy to write on with any pen. Not entirely transparent. Again, just very thin paper. Overall I'm disappointed that the gold stickers on it were ruined but I'll use the rest for my planner and anything else I want to stick on!
