Works as advertised but too slow for gaming and videos
Plugged in and it worked. Good: Full 4k display Bad: You can actually see the lag, not sure if it's due to bandwidth/USB3.0/other aspect of my computer's setup, but video and other features where you want smooth motion, don't work that well. Overall: Displaying up to 4k isn't a problem, but you'll need a different GPU if you need performance.
