Review on Piel Leather Buckle Flap Backpack Saddle Backpacks by Daniel Revlon

Let me first say that these bags are really well made and I really like their style. First I ordered chocolate, I really liked it, but I decided to check the color of the saddle as well, so I ordered it. I have to say I was expecting identical bags (just different colors) but as I compared them side by side I started to notice subtle differences. I liked how soft the candy bar was, but as it turned out the saddle is a lot harder. I also noticed a size difference, the chocolate is definitely bigger. If you look at the pockets from below, you can see that the chocolate pocket is much larger than the saddle bag, even the front pockets are slightly larger. There is also a difference in the cut at the ends of the straps, the stitching, the rivet and the loop on the top of the bag. With that in mind, I love the color of the saddle, but the softness and size of the chocolate wins for me. Update: I should add that Piel Leather is a great company.
