My problem: background noise affecting only the speakers (ie not affecting any of my inputs). Solution: This thing. I was skeptical to be honest and a little scared to embrace it. . I did it anyway and am very happy with it. Whatever it does, it works so well for me that I'm buying a second one hoping it will improve the other area I'm having trouble with. similar problem. This noise I had was still occurring even though I had all my hardware on the CyberPower CP1500AVRLCD and the Furman M-8X2. Now everything is quiet as it should be.
