Good range and strong signal just don't expect 4k
The microphone picks up the smallest vibrations and amplifies them, so you are guaranteed to hear everything. The advertised distance between the camera and the display is 1000 feet. I haven't turned off the surveying devices yet, but I can say they stayed in touch while I walked through the entire area, even through the mailbox! There's also a built-in infrared light that automatically turns on in low light and switches back to color when the area gets brighter. All in all, it's a great choice for a video monitor, whether it's a child, an adult, or even a chihuahua!
