I feel a bit silly talking about a fuel can, but this is the best and safest diesel fuel can you can buy. You will also need a yellow plastic spout (or other type of spout). Ever since I bought my first one, I haven't spilled a drop of diesel fuel while filling up my tractor. This is my second replacing the horrible, leaking, dangerous, heavy 5 gallon plastic canisters with so called "safety" spouts that are so difficult to use and spill fuel on your tractor and your hands and arms. This glass is a good size and light enough for a 68 year old. I'll probably buy a third one. Three would fill an empty tank for me. These tins are made of durable, heavy gauge galvanized steel that will never wear out or rust. They're pricey, but worth every penny if you value ease of use and security, security, security. (And don't worry about getting doused in diesel.)
