I have one of these discontinued for my small pit to replace a similar one that we lost. I wanted to use it on walks, to protect her bare tummy from hiking scratches, to keep her warm in cold weather, towing and for safety in the car. I was desperate to find a replacement but was disappointed with how weak this AKC suspension was. The black fabric is quite thin and the white fluffy material inside wasn't durable or very thick. After the straps were adjusted, they came loose on their own and the clips also felt a little flimsy. The length didn't fit my dog either. I was willing to put up with the AKC snobbery about a quality product, but this is not a quality product. I sent this back and got a four paw seat belt which is more expensive but well worth the money.
