When I grab it almost to my apron and coffee maker, it doesn't roll out far enough to open the coffee maker lid. It's about 4 inches shorter. That means that if I hold it four inches from the skirt that it could slide out far enough, it would encroach too far into usable counter space. I think it works if you have 8" cabinets, but not so well if you have 12" cabinets. However, I found a solution. Leave the bottom half with emphasis. Now it rolls all the way back and I can roll it forward far enough to make coffee. I originally said it had hard plastic wheels and I was concerned that it would eventually mark the counter, but upon closer inspection I noticed that the wheels have a groove and a rubber o-ring that acts like a tire. A request is gone! I'm still only giving three stars because I have half of the product that I can't use.
