I've only had the bag for 2 weeks but I like it so far. It's really soft and light! I don't know if it's real leather, but it looks and feels real. It fits my laptop (13"), makeup bag, wallet, sunglasses and many other things. What I really like is the light weight. I have a nice genuine leather Marc Jacobs bag, very similar but it has silver detailing along the handle and a textured square bottom.I like the bag but it's so heavy,empty!Add a laptop and it's like carrying bricks.I think it's the hardware,it is beautiful but too heavy. This bag was a lifesaver. A new bag with all my stuff is literally lighter than an empty Marc Jacobs bag! The price is another important point! It's a $15 bargain! Only downside is the smell. It has a strange smell. Hard to describe. Maybe something like an old box? I'm not sure, but I got rid of it by putting drying towels in it for a few days. I would recommend it
