Can't speak for the other reviews but to be honest I was very impressed with this cabinet. After reading other reviews I fully expected that assembly would be a huge hassle and that there would be no instructions. Instead, I received a well-packaged product with full, easy-to-follow instructions and quality materials. Note that it is heavy and it is highly recommended to use two people for assembly (mainly for installing doors). In fact, I found this to be one of the most intuitive and well-designed pieces of mail order furniture I've collected. Take a chance because it's significantly cheaper than the competition and probably better quality. I am very satisfied and happy to be able to store my shoes where my one year old daughter won't scatter them around the room!
