Even if they don't all work, it still saves money.
3 of the 4 cartridges I received worked. Unfortunately it was a black cartridge. Impractical, but I think it saved me from the insane prices of HP OEM cartridges anyway. I've run head cleaning modes and maintenance functions with no success. A partially used cartridge temporarily loaned from a similar in-store printer works well, so I ruled out the printer myself. I think as they say third party cartridges will always be a gamble. You win something, you lose something.
