This gold Movado watch is very impressive. Modern and minimalistic yet classic. Gold is the right shade for not being overbearing, but you *can* look a bit overdressed if you wear it in very casual clothes and situations. It is comfortable and the double clasp is easy to close and open, but still safe to wear. The subtle texture of the sunray finish on the dial is beautiful and the finely detailed strap is delightful. A small complaint that is a bit large and dangles around my wife's wrist. We'll have to take it to a watch shop to have some of the spacers removed, but it's better to have them big than too small. It really makes a statement and makes a wonderful gift if you can afford it. After a few days of use, it keeps the perfect time. However, as the manufacturer recommends, while it can get wet and even briefly submerged in water, it's not designed for such things. It comes in a beautiful gift box (pictured above). UPDATE: 12/19/2016 - After a few months of use it's still holding up great and holding up well. They have become my wife's favorite watch. court
