I checked twice that my iPad 4 is compatible with this case and it should be. Everything fitted well until I closed the top plastic piece on the base. It seemed to fit all around, except for the bottom, which has a large gap near the home button (see image). It flexes and snags on things instead of resting on the tablet. This is cumbersome and turns an expensive tablet into cheap junk. The volume buttons on the case don't match the volume buttons on the tablet, so my daughter has to open the lid to change the volume. This case also dampens the sound a bit as there are no holes for noise in the right places. Not satisfied, come back.
