Review on American Crew High Hold Styling Gel by Angie Love

I have tried many brands of gel over the years. Glossimo gel was my favorite for many years and then became the Bain De Terre original until both companies stopped making them. A friend recommended I try American Crew and I've never looked back. What I love about this gel is that it has a broad hold and is non-greasy. The trick to increasing holding power is to apply it to damp rather than damp hair, rather than dry or damp hair. The wetter your hair, the longer the prescribed amount will last. After a traditional short cut, I've found that a small amount of product on almost dry hair gives my medium hair the volume it needs. Also when my hair started going gray I noticed that it not only adds volume but also covers the gray hair until it is completely dry which can take over 4 hours. At home I use one large bottle and add a third. party pump. For travel I use one of the smaller bottles. Please note that the TSA has never questioned the smaller 8 ounce size. a bottle I keep refilling, but be aware it's over 3 ounces of TSA if you use their smaller bottle. Rule.
