This isn't the first order with a broken or "leaking" can of cat food and you can spot the smell. However, this is the first time that due to a death in the family we have had to leave home quickly before checking the package we have received. We came back a week later and my husband opened the package to find that a can had been opened and that can had been ruined and spilled over all the other cans. There were also some small brown bugs (see photos above) on all the other cans that he was trying to flush down the sink while we were trying to store pet food in the laundry room. I took a few cans to send photos - he already disposed of the broken can to get the smell out of our house. Even they don't show the whole picture, as he said the cans were completely covered in bugs when he opened a pack of Friskies for 24 packs of four mixed seafood flavors. We've been ordering this combo for a while as our cats seem to love them and we've had issues with dented and sometimes "leaky" cans in the past, but have never had a mess like this. And the problem with the packaging doesn't seem to lie outside of the box the product comes in. It is ALWAYS on the Friskies box, so the problem must start with the original shipper. If service continues in this manner with this supplier, we have no choice but to find another to do business with. Having private pet sitters or nannies twice a day to check on our children, we also encountered swarms of mosquitoes and green flies that had invaded our laundry room due to the extra traffic thanks to the vulgar, unprofessional staff.
