I have read several reviews and found that many people do not understand the assembly instructions. They come complete with two sets of 4 upper and two sets of 4 lower racks attached to two different shelves. To attach a full height shelf, the entire threaded insert holding the leveling feet (not just the legs) must be removed from a set of floor studs. Also remove the black plastic connector from the "top" pins you will be connecting to. There are four double threaded connectors that then connect the capless tops to the bottomless legs. So far they have been very strong for us, even heavily laden with our homemade cans. By counting 8 cut lines between all your supports, you can end up with 8 shelves with a "bonus" shelf between the bottom shelf and the floor. Coincidentally, that amount makes the shelves nearly perfect for liter cans, so we're stoked. I've bought two so far on separate occasions, but I may end up needing another one.
