I've been using fanny packs on the trails for years, but it's often inconvenient to get to what you need without removing other items from your pack. Difficult to walk. Not only is this shoulder bag more streamlined than a fanny pack, but it also offers easier access to your belongings. Plus, the multiple zipped compartments make it easy to organize everything you need for quick access without interrupting your hike. In addition, it is comfortable to wear. I've had back problems my whole life and I've never felt comfortable carrying a backpack. The quality is also excellent. Should last for years of use. This little package comes highly recommended!
