***Just a light plastic strip and it's identical. It may not be necessary for your machine but with my 2010 Scion xb it had to be trimmed. VERY easy to make, even with scissors. No fear. All you have to do is hold the OEM relay next to it and you'll see what needs to be cut to make it flush. I bought this LED flasher relay. It does its job and as for the lag that others have mentioned, it doesn't stick around as you might think. Let me explain, after installing this relay, when you click the turn signal left or right, there is NO instant click sound, HOWEVER the turn signal light comes on momentarily, then the relay energizes and then you hear the sound. Others have stated that the light does indeed come on with a delay, but I didn't notice that. A cool factor or quirk for some, I noticed that the flashing speed is a bit slower than the OEM which reminds me of more luxurious cars that have slower speeds. , a more elegant flashing sequence. I think it is cool.
