I felt like the height-adjustable SturdiBag Pet Carrier (Large) would be just the thing for transporting Mom's long little dog (aka SuzieQ, my fur sister's and Mom's sibling's favorite) by plane from Georgia to Texas. .From the reviews I knew there were only four main assembly steps. I also knew that the first step might have been a fool, so I sent the construction bag to me instead of my mother. It arrived on time and well packaged. It included a bag, shoulder strap, base, pillow and seat belt. It's time to read the instructions! I've combined steps one through five into "Step One: Insert Flexible Rods". It took about 15 minutes to assemble the bag. For ten minutes he sweated over these slightly flexible (but also easily breakable) chopsticks. Some reviewers had to order a replacement before assembling the bag at least once. I was skeptical. I quickly realized what they were talking about. Inserting the bars into the middle and bottom hinges is very easy. Then you need to ground it in the top loop/cover. I promise you - in the photo the lower part of the bar was lowered as low as possible. They expect you to bend the rod (gently!) against a hard surface (the bathroom countertop in my case) to insert it into the cap. Overall I'm happy with the result but I sent it to my mom with the staves inside. I didn't mean to force anyone to put those !@#$%^ back in the bag! Mom put Susie in it for a few nights to prepare for the flight. Susie seems to like it.
