Review on BLACK+DECKER Brew 'n Go Personal Coffeemaker with Travel Mug, Black/Beige, DCM18 - Convenient Coffee on the Go! by Sherri Evans

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Okay but something like the Cockamamie design

1) It's in approx. I agree because I didn't expect it to set any records, because it's rated at 800 watts. The device it replaces was priced at 1400 and expired in about 1:30. 2) The water tank is narrow and curved. I don't know what clown thought that was a good idea, but I'll tell you, if you have motor disabilities from age or illness, you can find it very difficult to pour water into a tank without spilling it. 3) The whole block is black. This makes it difficult to see the "Maximum Fill Line" in the tank. Because of this, it is difficult to see if the internal parts of the device need cleaning. The bug can crawl in and you'll never know unless you shine a light source directly into the tank. 4) Only press the start button when you have a cup under the spout. Hot water starts flowing almost immediately. 5) I leave the mug under the spout all the time because I'm never sure what's dripping out. 6) I consider this a temporary solution until I find a device that appears to be the result of conscious thought.

Pros
  • Includes Travel Mug - 15 oz. Travel mug is great for taking a cup of coffee with you on the run, it fits perfectly in most car cup holders
Cons
  • Slightly torn
