Overall the quality of these shoes will hold up as long as they fit my daughter. They also have a small pillow that is good for their feet. I would definitely say that these sandals are large. My daughter is 18 months old and has small feet. She usually wears US size 3 baby shoes and there isn't much room in them. I ordered 12-18 for fear that if I ordered a size down I would be sizing wrong and small. But 12-18 was pretty big. She has room in it and can walk, but she looks more awkward than usual because of the room in the toe box.
