I knew better but I bought them anyway

You get what you pay for. Poor quality chrome plating, the first thing I noticed when I opened the box they came in was the chrome plating was peeling off the spike tips. then i went and "installed" them on my truck just to see if i liked the look and some of the studs weren't symmetrical to the threaded body. lol save you time and money.
