I shaved with Gillette razors for many years but decided to look for an alternative when Gillette decided "male toxicity " accept. And I can say without reservation that the Schick Hydro is an excellent alternative to the Gillette option. And while I personally find that using a small amount of shaving cream is preferable to using shaving cream without shaving cream, you can really get a decent result with Schick Hydro by skipping the cream.
