I have to use a work chair in the kitchen due to mobility issues. Ordinary chairs just didn't "last" long on a tiled floor. This one is heavier and more durable. I bought the first one almost 4 years ago and it's still like new. Stains are wiped directly from the upholstery. The mesh backrest prevents the chair from becoming too heavy. I needed a new workshop chair and searched until I found the same model. It was so easy to put together. I needed help getting the parts out of the box, but I did the assembly myself (I'm 82). The seat is hard, but that contributes to its long wear (soft pads "wear out". I just add a cushion. Wonderful chair.
