This is a decent monitor. The video quality is good, but not outstanding. There are several comments. (1) There is no DVD input. So if you have an older video card with a DVD-D output, you'll need a DVD-to-HDMI adapter. (2) Assembling the pedestal on the base is a little difficult. The general outline in the manual is useless. The pedestal and base only fit together one way, so think carefully about how that alignment should be. Downgraded to 2 stars now that we've lived with it for about a month. The power cord inserts vertically into the back of the monitor and often dangles down and covers the screen until plugged back in. Really annoying. Now down to one star (deserves zero). The power cord connection is now completely disconnected and the monitor needs to be replaced. Don't buy this!
