Very impressively bright. It's like looking straight into it, it hurts your eyes. I don't think you could ask for more on the brightness side. The different modes are good too with enough flashes etc. It feels like a great solid build. I like the gauges on the side when you're charging - you can also see how charged the battery is when you're using it, so you don't have to just guess. I wasn't expecting to use velcro on the back. This is actually very helpful. I usually clip it either to my pocket or sometimes even to the back of my shorts. This is a solid, strong clip. Which actually brings me to my own criticism. The rubber band that came with it is too short. It's too difficult to get around the center tube that supports the saddle (the obvious place to install it). This makes it impractical to assemble, at least for me. In other words, I'm VERY excited about the clip, otherwise the light probably wouldn't have done anything for me. So really great light with a shortcoming. I would definitely buy it again and I was happier with the purchase than I even optimistically expected.
