As someone who has spent a significant amount of time working with graphics and photography, I have been exposed to Apple goods for a considerable amount of time; they have always stood out due to the high-quality approach they take to screens. In all honesty, I chose it due of the screen (the other reason being that it is iron optimized and has a competent design; nothing creaks and there is no backlash). The sound was the thing that took me by surprise. How is it possible for such speakers to produce such a high-end sound? Just for kicks, I hooked it up to a Pioneer 5.1 surround sound system complete with a subwoofer. As a result, the sound is significantly more expansive and pure than it would be if you were listening to it through the same system from a television. Everything else, as far as I can see, is on par as well; there is currently nothing to comment on; a few photographs edited in Photoshop do not count as evidence just yet:) I've never been much of an Apple fan, and to be honest, I find that kind of person annoying, but I have to give credit where credit is due—that is one high-quality device. If you are not concerned with the cost and do not waste your time playing toys (you will need to shaman with the Windows emulator), then by all means, go ahead and get it; you won't be sorry you did.
