This is a stylish, lightweight jacket perfect for spring and fall weather in the Midwest. The dark blue color goes well with both casual and dressy attire. (Note: the color of the jacket in the product photo at the time of my review is much lighter than what I received.) The jacket has a few features that I really like, like a hood (it's windy where I live) and a drawstring waist giving it a fitted look. The length of the jacket is mid-thigh which suits me as I have a short waist and the longer length puts my legs in better proportion to the rest of my body. It has two outer pockets with snaps, is lightly lined and the outer fabric is water-repellent polyester. I wore it on a cold, windy and rainy day last week and it was windproof, waterproof and much warmer than I expected. The hood was a big plus. The jacket is almost true to size. If you are between sizes I would go up a size. I usually wear a size 6 and often find myself between sizes when wearing a size SML. I wanted the jacket to be roomy enough to wear over cool weather clothing so I went a medium size. Fits perfectly.
