This case consists of 3 parts: back, rubber bumper and front. When I carefully disassembled it for installation on my Galaxy, the faceplate broke almost immediately as the three pieces separated. It's a thinner protruding plastic that prevents you from dropping the screen on your face. I ended up putting it together anyway, just to see how it all fit together. It was easy to assemble. The back fits perfectly, and the front is only to blame for partially obscuring the Samsung logo. All buttons and ports can be used through the case. The rubber bumper provides tension to hold all three pieces together. Luckily he even held the broken front panel in place. As it came with a screen protector, after inspection I was still confident that my tablet was still well protected, even with a tear on the front of the case. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it has proven to be durable. The back is mostly covered with rubber and has ribs that prevent slipping and also ensure a good grip. Overall it's a pleasing look as the black color complements the tablet. It adds a little weight, but not too much, and it doesn't feel bulky like some cases. The price is great compared to many other cases on the market. For the money it would have deserved 5 stars if it hadn't cracked when preparing to install.
