Just what I needed

This is a great price compared to similar items I've seen listed. I had them redesign pierced earrings for my young nieces (ages 10 and 12). There wasn't much information in the listing description so thought I'd share what I know now. I have to say that they are very small. They're perfect for kids and adults with small earlobes (my nieces say they don't even realize they're wearing them) but on my own admittedly large earlobes (I was born with Buddha ears!) they were very difficult to put on and awfully tight. They seem to be made fairly well. I've tried about 1/4 of them and never found any flaws. They were pretty easy to use depending on the diameter of the pen. I had some cute teenage earrings. I used a Xuron 170-II Micro-Shear Flush Cutter and cut the posts very short. They easily fit into the hole from the front (middle of the disc). The disc on the front looks large in the picture but is actually very small and will be completely hidden by most earrings. The tiniest nubs didn't cover the disc, but since the plastic is clear, it's not noticeable at all. I was worried the pins might fall out so I used a small amount of Loctite to secure them. But with some other earrings it was more difficult. These posts must have been a bit thicker because they were VERY difficult to fit into the hole. I broke some plastic adapters trying to insert a pen. So your mileage may vary. If the original earrings are difficult to insert but have flat backs, then I think it would be easier to just cut off the entire pin and just glue it to the disc. In general a good buy. I made a small set for my nieces so now they can get all the earrings they want and easily turn them into clip earrings. They love it!
