Review on Neumann TLM Condenser Microphone Cardioid by Crystal Keenan

At first glance, this mic looks "tiny," but it handles an incredible amount of sound with no overhead/gain. I tested it with the whole drum set and it started breaking a bit; but the overall sound was just amazing (and the preamp was way too high). I decided to switch to acoustics and voice simultaneously and independently. The results were nothing short of amazing. The microphone is very capable, which I think could be a downside as I could hear a car driving a good distance away from my recording. But if you get the levels right and put it in a soundproof location, you're in sound heaven! This will drastically change the sound of your home studio. Enjoy!
