I wanted a good quality, strong and durable fun board so my grandkids could try and learn from it without spending a lot of money. These boards build confidence, help you learn balance, are easy to manipulate to carve turns, gain momentum for beginner tricks and are built to take the hits and are a must have for my super charged daredevils , fearless 6 and 7 year olds. . old grandchildren. The guys figured them out within minutes of unboxing them, which means they felt cool enough to ride ahead of their peers, who have been skateboarding for quite some time. Scooters (with handles) for a while, and I really think maybe it helped them balance on skateboards. We also had them stand on planks in the grass to keep their balance. Once they could determine how they felt to find their balance, they just took off. You've had them for over a month now. Wow! Unbelievable how good they are in such a short time. The softer, wide wheels were perfect for gliding over bumps, cracks and uneven pavement. The boys keep riding their skateboards to Grandma's house because they say I'm better at walking the sidewalk than they are. :-) It wasn't the plan but I'm so glad it happened. Whatever brings you here. :-) I gave my youngest grandson (3 years old) a Fischer Price Skateboard with grip. He loved it but I think he's close to being ready for this board, he's always begging to use his brother's boards. Fischer Price's board has given him the confidence he needs to balance on this board and he's doing a great job. We will be ordering one of these for him very soon. This was one of my favorite purchases for my grandchildren. You never really know what you're going to like until you find out. It turned out to be one of the few things that the more they played it, the more they wanted to play it. A great way to use up some of that beautiful young energy. My mother often thanked me. :-)
