Received for my son today. My first observation was that there were threads sticking out of the side seams, which I ignored as they weren't a huge problem even though the shorts looked a little cheaper. I washed them immediately and followed all the label instructions. I took the first pair out of the washing machine - one of the drawstrings at the waist went so far into the hole that I couldn't get it out. Only a huge ball of thread remained. We will keep the shorts anyway because they are cheap and there was no other damage. I'll probably cut the laces anyway as my son doesn't really like them. I still have 3 stars because they seem like good breathable shorts for warmer weather. But the threads sticking out everywhere remind me of an ear with all the little hairs.
