The magnet is too weak to clean anything.
I bought this magnetic scraper to replace my previous magnetic scraper which was old and worn out. I bought a small one as I only have a 16 gallon tank. However, the strength of my previous magnets is at least 3 times stronger and the size is half the size. This could not scrape any algae and the clip on the attachments did not help at all. Do yourself a favor and stick with the best mag float like I should have.
