I've been looking for the perfect true wireless headphones for a number of years. Many tested or owned including Jabra, Bose, Apple, B&O, Klipsh, Jaybird; I think this B&W PI5 is the closest thing to a perfect set. I am currently using the Klipsh T5 II and so far these have been the best headphones for my needs. What I expect from a headset and what the B&W PI5 can do. Tone - 10/10. Great sound, powerful bass, clear treble, although there is no equalizer in the application, the sound does not require special settings. Connectivity is 10/10, I need to connect iPhone, iPad and Windows PC to work with Teams. This headset works great with all devices, hassle-free connectivity and perfect sound when calling Teams or Google Meet. I've used a lot of headsets to work on it and encountered a lot of problems connecting to Windows (Jabra 75t which doesn't guarantee connection to devices other than phones) or experienced static during calls (AirPods Pro) and multiple disconnects. Independent listener usage is 10/10, the B&W PI5 is truly independent. This is very important to me as I use the headset daily for work, like to use the left earbud just for calling, not many headsets are really independent, usually the left earbud is a slave of the right earbud. For battery issues, I only switch to the right side when the left is charging, which allows me to make calls all day. In the ears and fit is 9/10, the B&W PI5 are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, not heavy at all, the buds fit well in the ear canal and the seal is good. I use the largest seal, other kits use a medium seal so this may be an issue for some. ANC - 9/10 works very well, although I rarely use it on most of my headphones due to the ear seal. , but it's nice to have it for plane travel or really noisy places. I'm not an expert on this topic, but it works fine in my test. Housing - 8/10. Despite wireless charging and fast charging, it's larger than the others, albeit very light, weighing about the same as the AirPods Pro and significantly lighter than the Klipsh. The price is 8/10, it's on par with other premium brands and I guess it rarely comes up for sale so that's something to consider. But for an item that I use for many hours each day for work and play, I think they're adequate, especially if they really suit my needs. Looks and feels - 10/10. They look very cool and are very well constructed. The fit is great and they don't pop out of the ear too much. They fit comfortably and stay in place for most movements, unlike the AirPods Pro which I can't keep in place after wearing them for a while. Overall I think these are the perfect headphones for me. I'm not really judging if they have the best individual features like sound, ANC, battery or whatever, but as an overall package and specific features I reckon it's the best I've ever used. I hope they last a long time and there will be no problems along the way.
