My job is to check apartments and houses for health and safety. One thing I've always been disappointed with when testing a smoke alarm. i am too small I usually ask customers if they have a broom I can use to pick up their detector. Testing smoke detectors but it crashed when the test button was pressed. But then I found this handy thing. I know it's not the most common way to use it, but it's great for my needs. It's very durable (and probably piling up on my clipboard)
