There was a certain intuition at play here. I converted a guest room into a new home office and initially invested in a matching monitor for my new (refurbished) Mac Mini when the monitor became available. As this would be a definite step forward in the real estate space alone I went for it, along with a stand to hold it and the right one, which gave me a dual monitor setup that I didn't initially plan on but don't have now can imagine without. In addition, the VP2458 is very elegant in its near-zero design and stunning resolution and color performance. It also easily fits into the VESA mount. Two things: it comes with a very impressive stand for use as a single monitor, but I had to order an HDMI cable to connect it to my Mac Mini.
