Much better than some of the other nylon straps

I have several Mission straps and love the concept. With any missionary belt, you have the perfect belt no matter how little or how much you ate at dinner. This is my first non-leather mission belt purchase and I am very happy. A few weeks before buying I was on vacation and saw a nylon belt that looked good and bought it for a more casual look with shorts. It's ok, but it's a little awkward to tuck it through your pants as nylon isn't naturally as strong as leather. Also, when I used to clip something to my belt while working in the garden (like a Leatherman multi-tool), nylon didn't offer as much security as leather. Since I love Mission Belts, I decided to try nylon again. I figured if I didn't like nylon I would have at least one other buckle in a color I don't already have. I'm so glad I bought the Nylon Mission Belt. The front is made of nylon fabric and the back is solid and very strong. I suspect this is to get the ratchet function to work, but it makes the belt extremely strong, making it look like a solid leather belt but looks like nylon. It's durable and easy to put on, and for those of us with small stomachs, the strength ensures it won't tip over when you sit down. The color I bought is (blue) and it can work with shorts and a t-shirt or khakis and a polo for dinner. I chose the gold buckle because I didn't have a gold buckle, but when I wear this belt I pair it with an iron or gunmetal buckle. I find the gold a little flashy for the blue belt, but that might just be me. Overall the Mission belt is great overall and if you are looking for the look of a nylon belt go for this one as you get the look of nylon but the strength and feel of leather.
