Review on Diane Fromm Heated Gel Cap by Cindy Franklin

Works well after some minor adjustments

Works well after some minor adjustments suggested by Down, another reviewer. The first 2 times I used it I had some issues with it not heating evenly, feeling too heavy and the elastic band on my forehead made me feel like my forehead was being ripped apart. So, following Down's advice, I laid it on its side with the rubber band together and heated one side for 30 seconds, then flipped it over and heated the other side for 30 seconds, and the heat is much more evenly distributed. I then turned the whole cap inside out to remove the stitching from my forehead and that eliminated the feeling that it tore my forehead. I agree with Down's comment that it has more room when worn inside out. Weight wise I have a neck injury and the weight of the cap tends to be a bit heavier than I would prefer. After wearing it upright for a few minutes, whether I'm sitting, standing or walking, the weight of the cap gives me a terrible headache. I've found that I feel better if I lay down with a pillow under my head and let it support my neck and support the weight of the hat. Also, I have a hard time staying awake with this nice warm hat on my head. I will also try this cap the next time I have an earache because I think this cap will help then too. If anyone has any good deep hair treatment recipes or favorite products they'd like to share, I'm open to suggestions.
