The size chart says that the size 12 will fit waist 33-37, and it will, but you will have a muffin top if you are bigger than a 33 inch waist. The button also seems very flimsy and I was afraid it was going to break. And let me tell you if you have bigger thighs, these are a NO GO. I couldn't even sit down with them on. They have a tiny bit of stretch, but not much. Sad, because they are super cute!
