Review on High-Performance Lexar LSD128CBNA1667 Professional SDHC/SDXC 1667x UHS-II 128GB Memory Card Triple Pack by Sharmake Shuram

Good cards for general use, not great performance

These cards work well in UHS-1 mode but don't really stand out. In UHS-2 mode, its read speed is very satisfactory, but the write speed doesn't really improve. I've tested multiple readers including my SanDisk UHS-1 and UHS-2 readers (which always offer the best speeds for most SD cards) and the write speeds in UHS-2 mode versus UHS-1 have never changed improved. I mainly use SD cards in my cameras but also in SBCs that I use for various projects, so SD card read/write speed is very important to me for device usability. If your camera has a UHS-1 card slot, these cards will work fine, but there are cheaper cards that may work better. In my Canon T7i I've tested more SD cards than you can shake ten sticks and indeed the one that gets the most continuous frames before the buffer slows down is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FCMKK5X /ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_QnYIFbWM8HSF3 I understand that this is a micro SD card and they usually aren't as fast as their full sized counterparts, but this little guy gives me an extra frame before going into buffer latency against a top three goes. I have many other cards that can beat it in read/write speeds, but my camera likes it best. , and have a good value. But if, like me, you want your camera to shoot as long as possible before hitting the buffer wall, you'll have to shell out an extra $$$ for more expensive cards. Hope that helps. .
