Bought these as skirt shorts for my 6 year old daughter. She is 46 inches tall and of average weight, but she is very slim. They fit her very well except the waist is a bit baggy but the spandex holds them up. Like their mother, they fit me too. I'm 5 feet 5 inches and 125 pounds. Therefore, they are very versatile in terms of fit.
