Review on 🧤 Easy On/Off Waterproof Dishwashing Scrub Mitts with Jokari Oversized Textured Design by Allison Jones

Too big, bulky and soaked up a ton of water.

These mittens are truly waterproof and have what is called a "waterproof lining". This liner is simply a medium weight synthetic liner sewn into each glove. When I tried them on, I took them off and put them on a few times. They are more like mittens with a full lining. I shift my hand to slide the plastic part of my thumb back into the glove. I was surprised how big they are. I don't have small hands, but they practically dwarf my hands. They are soft and comfortable with external foam padding. I don't know if they can be washed in the dishwasher, I don't have one and haven't tried it either. I'm sure they can be gently machine washed. Washing the dishes turned out to be an epic failure and chore. The mittens were so bulky that it was difficult for me to grab a small bowl. It was all downhill from there as the mittens quickly soaked up water. Much water. They started slipping off my wrists as I pulled the glove out of the water. Maybe it would have been better with a bigger plate but I doubt it. Maybe they would serve me better as car wash mitts, but I'm not considering them.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
