Nice mouse/keyboard set. Bought for my wife's computer because of the color. Wasn't disappointed. This is a membrane keyboard. She handles being hit by our kids well (age 6). The manual is a little difficult to understand, but here are the operations to control the features specific to this mouse and keyboard: Mouse: - DPI (hold): It can be 3 or 5 seconds. This toggles the mode or something between Normal and what I call "media mode" (read this for another Havit mouse). Basically, in this multimedia mode, the scroll wheel increases/decreases the volume, and backward/forward becomes the previous/next track. I read the entire manual and don't remember it being documented, which is why I wrote this review. hope this helps you - DPI+Back/Forward: cycles between two (I think) lighting modes. As far as I can tell, they are. - does not light up when stationary, red when moving - breathes when stationary (fades -> bright -> off, then changes color), slowly changes color to full brightness when moving. -> Bright -> Breathing - FN+F12: Toggle between disabling/enabling the Windows key - FN+F11: Toggle between locking/unlocking the entire keyboard (does not turn off the backlight)
