I like this hat for several reasons. I've always found it difficult to wear hats as I think my head is oddly shaped(?). Things are either too small or too big. This hat is perfect. Just big enough to fit comfortably on my head without constricting. I use the tape as a sizing guide so I can customize the hat exactly to my liking. I have chronic headaches, especially in the head, and with this hat I can actually put an ice pack over my head and still wear the hat beautifully! It offers good sun protection and although I haven't washed it I can say that the material washes easily. Wire panels allow for easy shaping. I can say I'm not a shaping expert so finding a good fit was a bit of a hassle, but I also bought this hat mainly because it's functional when I'm gardening or hanging out outside rather than him how to wear fashion . Overall very happy with it.
