It was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to read and the parts/equipment count was minimal. It looks cute and I like that it has multiple components: shoe rack, higher trunk, seat, another storage compartment for different things. Article. I had to put something small by the garage door because we use that entrance more often than our front door and our breakfast nook was stuffed with shoes. I love the look of this storage bench. The only thing I don't like is that the seat is not very deep. The description says it has a weight limit of 270lbs so I chose this one over another that I really liked. My husband is 260 pounds and I'm not a short woman and I don't want to risk sitting on this thing. Even my husband said it looked like it couldn't take the weight. That being said, we'll be using it primarily for shoe storage rather than seating for ourselves. Our little one can sit on it while we help her put on her shoes but to be honest I wouldn't want the thing to break.
