This nest/bed makes it easy to tuck your baby in when you're around and keep an eye on them. Sometimes I put my baby in it while feeding him on the couch just to fold the laundry or do something with my other hand. My baby is at an age where I feel safe in the nest but I'm sure he'll outgrow it in a month or two when he can start rolling around and getting out of things. An absolute big minus is that the lid is not removable. By the time babies are big enough to fit in this nest, they are at an age where they can burp and easily make a mess elsewhere. It's very inconvenient that you have to clean it and you can't just throw it in the washing machine to get rid of all the stains. It also makes it difficult to inflate the pillow as needed.
