It works, just not for all windshields.
Bought this lamp a few months ago for less than twenty dollars. I taped it to my windshield the day I got it and it never fell off. It's not the brightest, but it works. The biggest problem I see is that the temple is very short so you don't have much range of adjustment. It didn't work at all on my Wrangler. But it fits perfectly in the Pathfinder windshield trash can.
