Stop whining about the bass

Most negative reviews of the B&O Explore mention bass or lack thereof. The speaker doesn't sound outstanding right out of the box, it sounds flat. However, simply download the B&O app, connect it to your speaker and use it to change the EQ. The bass isn't amazing, but it's there when you want it. The speaker looks amazing, looks like a tank and is great to take with you. No, it probably won't be a party speaker, but it should serve the user well in 99.9% of other wireless Bluetooth speaker applications. Speakers are very individual so some people probably won't be happy if they don't get BASS anyway, but again, install the app and experiment with the sound profile and I think you'll be very happy with the sound. I've tried many genres of music from hip hop to rock and instrumental and I'm very happy with the speaker. It's truly 360-degree audio, and it sounds great from every angle. Update: I will upgrade it to five stars. I've spent some time with this and am really amazed at how clean and clear the speaker is. Everything I play sounds great and yes there is still enough bass. I think it's maybe a little overpriced at $199, but not outrageously so, and if you're on the fence, wait for a decent used stock sale.

Pros
